Hyderabad News. Construction of Rail Overbridge at Lingampalli Connecting Tellapur-Gachibowli to BHEL Delayed

New road development works have been put on hold in all districts including Hyderabad and Ranga Reddy districts as the state government has not released necessary funds for the last quarter of financial year 2009-10.
The official said the construction of 1.29 km-long bridge at Lingampalli,connecting BHEL-Tellapur-Gachibowli,at the cost of Rs 47 crore had also been delayed for the same reason.
The roads that were to be taken up in the city are the busy Jubilee Hills check-post road,Sagar road,Chadarghat,Neredmet and Mirjalaguda roads.According to an official of roads and building department,35 road works at the cost of Rs 109.48 crore in Hyderabad and Ranga Reddy districts are to be completed by March.In Cyberabad circle,23 works at the cost of Rs 92 crore had been sanctioned in 2009 but more than 30 per cent of works were not taken up as no funds were available.
