Hotel Inside Posh Gated Community. Hillridge, Gachibowli Residents Complains to Police

(Excl Ventures News) About 80 residents of Hill Ridge Springs gated community at Gachibowli lodged a complaint with the Chandanagar police station against employees of IVRCL (Hill Ridge builder) and staffers of Hotel Ellaa for criminal trespass and intimidation on Sunday. The hotel, residents allege, was functioning illegally from the Hill Ridge premises in connivance with the builder, IVRCL, whose employees allegedly intimidated residents here on Sunday.
Trouble broke out after the general body meeting of the Hill Ridge Springs Owners & Residents Association on Sunday morning where residents decided that the hotels water supply and generator back up service be withdrawn, since it was not paying maintenance charges.
The hotel is running illegally in our complex, said Meenakshi Vishwanathan, vice-president of the association . Soon after the meeting, residents alleged that a driver of a vehicle owned by Hotel Ellaa created a ruckus by first blocking the pathway and later driving away rashly from the spot putting at risk the life of children who were playing nearby.
What shook the residents further was the alleged forced entry of six bouncers into a couple of flats. They allegedly came scouting for residents who had asked the driver to park the vehicle in another place. Around six hotel employees , including bouncers and the hotel manager, came to my house and started banging the door.
They forced entry into the flat when women and children were at home and threatened to kill me, blaming us for talking rudely with their hotel clients. Now, I am concerned about the safety of my family, said Ketharinath Kamalanadhan , who works with Microsoft.
The police was also called in by residents. We have been threatened. We have recording of the filthy language they (the hotel manager) used. But representatives from IVRCL filed a counter to our complaint at the police and left, said another resident Chandrakanth Shinde.

Things seem to be murky at the expensive Hill Ridge Community. Few months ago there was fight between Residents and the developer/maintenance company regarding contaminated water with police being dragged in. Wonder why people should pay > 4.0 Crore for Villas and above Rs.3300/sft for Flats and go through hell.
