HMDA told to stick to its schedules for Hyderabad Outer Ring Road

(Excl Ventures News) The Phase-I of the Outer Ring Road project should be completed by June 2010 and the other phases should be completed as per the schedule, Chief Minister K. Rosaiah told the officials at a review meting here on Tuesday.
Mr. Rosaiah who chaired the second Board meeting of the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) during the review of the eight-lane 158 km long ORR project directed the officials to adhere to the schedules and complete the Phase-IIA by December 2011 and Phase-IIB by July 2012.
Releasing CD on the Draft Revised Master Plan of the erstwhile HUDA, he asked the officials to display the details of the draft at all zonal offices of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) and conduct meetings to discuss the issue and also apprise the citizens.
He also wanted the Hussainsagar Lake and Catchment Area Improvement Project to be speeded up and completed by the year 2012-2013.
The base map Master Plan for the extended area under HMDA was also in progress and a draft plan was expected to be ready by March 2010, according to a statement issued by the Chief Minister’s Office.
