Telangana. Disturbed Industry Heads Meet Governer as elected Govt Sleeps

(Excl Ventures News) Disenchanted by the passivity of CM Rosaiahs government and its inability to bring order, India Inc. is making a beeline to the AP governor for action . And part-time governor ESL Narasimhan is revelling in his new role of governance and has made it clear that he means business.
In a marathon three-hour session of meetings on Tuesday afternoon with various industry bodies, the governor minced no words in making it clear that law and order was his main priority and there would be no compromise on that front. The tough-talking governor is learnt to have told industry captains that no distinction would be made between troublemakers , whether in suit or rag probably a reference to governments quick response when it came to attacks on business establishments of the two Reliance groups.
The governor is also understood to have admonished industry bodies for overreacting and urged them to project a positive image of the state while dealing with customers and investors from outside the state.
Industry representatives from various bodies such as Confederation of Indian Industry , Federation of Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FAPCCI), the IT and ITES Industries Association of AP (ITsAP, formerly known as HYCEA), National Association of Software and Services Companies (Nasscom), and Movie Artists Association are learnt to have come away satisfied by the governors tough talk. But some still had doubts over whether the governor fully understood the nuances of the problem.
Describing the meeting as fruitful and reassuring , FAPCCI president Harish Chandra Prasad said: We are happy that we have a person who can take action.
CII AP council chairman Y Harish Chandra Prasad, reassured by the governors stance, said: He means business . He assured all of us that the government would be strict against law breakers.
MAA president Murali Mohan, who along with Tollywood biggies such as producer Suresh Babu, apprised the governor of the impact on Tollywood said: We explained the impact of the uncertainty on Tollywood in terms of delayed releases and interrupted shootings. He assured us that the government will provide protection to film screenings and shootings.

Agitators have to be educated by their political leaders about the fall out of hurting industries. Industry has to feel comfortable whether in Telangana or Andhra if economic development which is the ultimate objective of agitationists is to be met.
