Hyderabad News.HMDA Landpooling Scheme in Mokila, Pratapsingaram and Korremula Villages
(Excl Ventures News.)HMDA has invited landowners /farmers to join land pooling scheme in Mokila, Pratapsingaram and Korremula Villages. The scheme will be similar to the one in Uppal Bhagat which saw block buster gains for farmers who joined the scheme.
Landowners will get certain square yard of developed HMDA plot in liue of the land when HMDA auctions the plots in developed layout in Mokila and the other two villages.
A total of 1,575 acres at Pratapsingaram and Korremula and 456 acres in Mokila are intended to be pooled from farmers, which will be developed by HMDA into layouts and handed back to the owners in a predetermined ratio.
The announcement came subsequent to two notifications by HMDA on May 2 and June 16 respectively seeking applications from land owners interested in land pooling. The land will get the tag of being developed by HMDA, which will increase their market value compared to other land.
The agricultural land will be developed into well-serviced housing plots with infrastructure such as water supply, electricity, parks and sewage treatment plants. Approval of building permissions will be processed quickly.
This will increase the potential for development of commercial and institutional activity around the developed layouts. HMDA will only act as a facilitator for farmers who express willingness to pool up their land for development.
The developed plots will be auctioned by HMDA and farmers compensated. Comment :
