Hyderabad News.Layout Regularization Scheme (LRS) 2019 is open from 3 months 15th October
(Excl Ventures News.)The State Govt has released GOMS 251 on 15th October reopening LRS scheme for unauthorized layouts and old panchayat layouts. The LRS scheme 2019 is valid for only 3 months (Till Jan 14 2020).
The Layout Regulari-sation Scheme (LRS) will be applicable only to the newly constituted municipalities and municipal corporations. This will be applicable for plots renewed on or before March 30, 2018. In case of municipalities and municipal corporations falling in HMDA limits, the HMDA will regularise the plots.
The application fee is Rs.10,000 or 10% of plot cost whichever is lower. The balance can be paid after issue of authorisation letter.
Open plots located in lakes, water bodies, nalas and in full tank level of any lake, pond, stream and shikam land, lands earmarked for industrial use, open spaces and recreational spots would not be considered for regularisation. In case of sites falling in other than residential use, conversion charges would be levied.
Rainwater harvesting, drinking water supply and sewerage networks, street lighting and fencing of open spaces are mandatory for regularisation.
If developers of illegal layouts do not come forward, no building permission, no regular water supply connection and services like drainage and sewerage would be extended and the layouts would be recorded in the prohibitory register of the registrations and stamps department and no sale or disposal transactions would be allowed.
If required open space for parks is not available, applicants have to pay proportionate open space charges. These opens space charges will be levied based on market value prevailing as on the date of registration.
The LRS approval will be given within six months from the date of payment of full amount. In case of sites falling in other than residential use conversion charges will be levied, except for sites earmarked for recreational, water bodies, buffer zones and industries. Comment :
