Vattinagaulapalli Gets Face Lift. Wipro Starts Construction work at 100 Acre SEZ

1.0 General
Wipro had received
formal approval for 100 Acre Special Economic Zone at Vattinagulapalli (1Km from Gopanpalli T Junction). Unlike other Real Estate Companies who have got SEZ approval and is now trying to cash out by selling land,
Wipro has done quick work and is going ahead with Construction of Vattinagulapalli Campus!
This is the
first instance of IT/Commercial activity spreading to Gopanpalli and beyond. Once
movement of vehicles and employees start in the Guchobowli -Vattinagulapalli route
through, Gopanpally and thro' Lingampalli, the impact will be felt on currently undeveloped road-sides, on either stretches.
2.0 SEZ Approval
Formal SEZ approval had been granted to Wipro, by the Board of approvals for developing SEZ over 40.46 Hectares(100 Acres).
This is
Wipro's second SEZ near Guchibowli. Part of the Wipro Campus (limited to 16 Acres) at Manikonda
beside Polaris is a Notified Operational SEZ. Wipro is already generating revenue there and would have seen the
operational profit increase with SEZ Operation. Also with possibility of
STPI scheme being watered down, in 2009-10, its important for Companies to think ahead and shift their operations to SEZs.

- Distance from APH216 (Integrated Township) to SEZ - 2Km to the Rear Entrance

- Distance from SEZ to ORR Jn at Vattinagulapalli - 2.5KM
The SEZ site is right beside the road from Gopanapalli to Vattinagulaplli. The road cuts ORR at Vattinagulapalli and proceeds to Gandipet -Shankarpalli Road.

GB201, and off course the New IT Employees Initiative at
APH216 (Integrated Apartment/Villa Township @Rs.2000/SFT) which just 2Km from Wipro.

4.0 Construction Work
Wipro has awarded
Phase1 construction work covering 40 Acres which will have
2 Large IT Park Blocks, to
Mumbai based Shirke Group. During recent site visit, we could see hectic activity. 2 Large Blocks are coming up.
Foundations are completed and Reinforcement work for Columns are in Progress.
The SEZ work is being handled by a special group created by Wipro. The Site Engineers sport SEZ group ID Cards and are supervising the activity from a nicely equipped Site office.
Together with construction of Buildings other
infrastructural activities like Compound Wall, Street Lighting, Road Works etc are in progress. As per the site engineers, the First Blcok is to be delivered in 6 Months (May2008)
